Yuko Eguchi, a graduate of the MBA-IB Program, has been selected for the 2026 NEDO Entrepreneurs Program (NEP): Exploration Course.
NEP supports individuals and teams who aim to commercialize technology seeds in deep-tech fields. In the 2026 Exploration Course, 68 projects were selected from 224 applications after document screening, interviews by external experts, and final selection by NEDO.
An overview of the project has also been published on the official NEP website under the title "NEP Selected Entrepreneur: Yuko Eguchi".

Comment from Yuko Eguchi

I am deeply honored to have been selected for this NEP opportunity.
The selected project is a continuation and further development of the work I began during the MBA-IB Program: a support service aimed at addressing the psychological burden experienced by cancer patients and their families. The project seeks to help patients and family members express concerns that may be difficult to share and to connect them to appropriate support.
I strongly feel that this progress has been made possible not only through what I learned at the MBA-IB Program, but also through the continuous advice and support I have received from my academic advisor after graduation, as well as the research and business development support provided by Yokohama National University. Many of the opportunities and connections that have led to my current activities originated from my time at the MBA-IB Program. I am deeply grateful for the guidance, encouragement, and network I gained there.
Although there is still a long way to go before commercialization, I have been blessed with many meaningful encounters and opportunities that I could not have imagined before entering the MBA-IB Program. This experience has reminded me once again how fortunate I was to study there.
I will continue working on both the research and business development aspects of this project, with the hope of contributing to better support for cancer patients and their families.
