University Ethics Challenge in 2021 organized by CFA Society Japan

Congratulations to Team Tsukuba for winning the first University Ethics Challenge (Japan Competition) in 2021 organized by CFA Society Japan.
We are enormously proud of our team. Our team will join the University Ethics Challenge APAC Competition as the only representative of Japan in October this year.
We greatly appreciate the strong support from CFA Society Japan, Heiwa Real Estate Co., Ltd., FinCity.Tokyo, and committee volunteers and insightful questions and comments from Judges.

Here are the comments from our team members:

“The CFA Ethics Challenge was an exciting opportunity to learn more about ethics. It was also a great chance to apply our learnings from the MBA-IB program. Doing our best throughout the whole process was both enjoyable and rewarding. Indeed, joining extracurricular activities aside from classes is worth the time and effort. I can say that this experience has been one of my most valuable time spent within the program. I like to thank the event organizers, Tsukuba University, professors, colleagues, and our whole team.”

“Groupwork with classmates is one of the most exciting activities in MBA-IB life. It is not only fun but also helps us maximize our performance by combining the best ideas through discussions.
This time, we obtained Japan champion of CFA Ethics Challenge through our collaboration. Probably we could do more through further collaborations!”
~ Mikihiro Fukui ~

“The CFA Ethics Challenge motivated us to demonstrate best of our analytical, problem solving and presentation skills. The diversified background of our team members provided us different perspectives. Positive attitude, group work and dedication are the keys to our success. I would like to thank the CFA Society, Japan and the University of Tsukuba for providing us opportunity to participate in CFA Ethics Challenge. Our sincere gratitude to our mentor and all other faculty members for their unconditional guidance and support to convert our efforts in to the success.
Looking forward to similar debates, late night calls and healthy interactions while we represent Japan in the CFA Ethics Challenge at Asia Pacific level.”
