Mr. Tomoyuki Yamane, Executive officer CSO of Chikaranomoto Holdings Co., Ltd. presented about the success of their global ramen brand, Ippudo. He shared with us his expansive knowledge in domestic and overseas business expansion strategy and marketing. Besides, he presented case studies related to risks and challenges associated with overseas business development. For example, we discussed issues and solutions for brand imitation, pricing, and choice of marketing avenues. Everyone truly enjoyed this lecture.
