Hidehiro Konno Mr. Hidehiro Konno
President, The Foundation for International Trade and Industrial Co-operation

After Mr. Konno stepped down from his position as Vice Minister at METI, he served as Chairman and CEO of Nippon Export and Investment Insurance, and Director of Mitsubishi Corporation before assuming his current position.
He graduated from the University of Tokyo (1968) and Princeton University (1974). His areas of interest include Applied Economics, International Relations, and Asia-Pacific Studies.




Jeffrey McNeill Mr. Jeffrey McNeill
Chairman and Founder of Market Makers, Inc.

Mr. McNeill has a long history in the food business in Japan, and his company Market Makers, Inc., represents U.S. agricultural suppliers that export over $1 billion worth of products to Japan each year. In additional to his corporate role, Mr. McNeill serves on several non-profit boards, including as a Board Director of the Harvard Club of Japan, as a member of the Alumni Board of the Harvard Business School, and on the Board of Trustees of the American School of Japan. He graduated from Princeton University (BA) and the Harvard Business School (MBA).




Michael J. Yoshii Mr. Michael J. Yoshii
Attorney, Retired partner of the Latham & Watkins, LLP. Tokyo office

To this day, Mr. Yoshii has worked for internationally-renowned law firms. His areas of expertise are cross-border M&A and project finance.
He graduated from Dartmouth College (BA) and the University of California, Davis Law School (JD).
He is registered with the Dai-ni Tokyo Bar Association and admitted to practice law in California and Hawaii in the United States.




Elmar Dresbach Mr. Elmar Dresbach
Former President of Abbott Diagnostics Medical in Japan

Mr. Elmar is President of Abbott Diagnostics Medical in Japan.
He has spend half of his career in Japan in Life Science moving frequently between Europe and Japan, starting young as a sales rep at the end of the bubble economy, as a management Consultant and in several companies for Japan as well as for Asia in leadership roles and in between HQ roles in Europe. He has an MBA from Warwick business school. If time allows he enjoys cycling, walking, enjoying Japanese culture, nature, travelling and meeting with nice human beings seeking the truth.
